(Un)Attractive Butcher's is conceived as a promotional strategy for the exhibition design project (Un)Attractive - From the Vice of Gluttony to the Aesthetic of Disgust.

The strategy involves a series of small-scale, ephemeral interventions within local businesses across the city of Milan, bringing the exhibition’s concept beyond the museum environment and into everyday urban spaces. The selection of local venues was guided by their thematic affinity with the exhibition: butcher's shops were chosen as the primary setting, creating a direct connection between the subject of Gluttony and the everyday rituals surrounding food and consumption.

This approach draws on the emerging model of pop up museums: temporary exhibition formats that redefine the traditional museum experience by establishing a direct connection with visitors, consumers, and local communities. Through these interventions, the project seeks to create new points of contact between the exhibition and the city, extending its narrative into the everyday context.
