(Un)Attractive - From the Vice of Gluttony to the Aesthetic of Disgust is conceived as a temporary exhibition within the Sala delle Cariatidi at Palazzo Reale, Milan.

The curatorial research investigates the Vice of Gluttony through the duality of attraction repulsion, and exploring the shifting boundary between what draws us in and what instinctively pushes us away. The exhibition translates this tension into a spatial experience in which desire and disgust coexist, questioning the aesthetic value we attribute to both.

The Sala delle Cariatidi is itself a highly immersive environment, whose historical and architectural significance is safeguarded by strict restoration guidelines. The exhibition design therefore adopts a minimal and non-invasive approach, introducing carefully calibrated elements that interact with the existing architecture while preserving its original character and allowing the space to remain an integral part of the exhibition experience.
